Liquid Lozenge

Cold remedy, immunity boost, hangover cure. This powerful combination of ginger, turmeric, and lemon can do it all and is perfect for when you feel cold coming on, your morning after woes, and everything in between.

Prep time: 5 Minutes

Cook time: 15-20

Serves: 3-5


  • 6 cups water

  • 1/4 oz fresh turmeric (about half a pinky size piece)

  • 1 oz fresh ginger (about a thumb size pieces)

  • 2-3 lemons

  • Apple cider vinegar (optional to taste)


  1. Finely slice ginger and turmeric

  2. Slice lemons in half

  3. Pour 6 cups water into a medium pot on high heat and add ginger, and turmeric

  4. Squeeze lemons halves completely into water, then add squeezed halves to the pot

  5. Bring to boil then reduce to simmer

  6. Let simmer for at least 15 minutes and up to an hour

  7. To serve, ladle into mugs or strain into jars for storage (will keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks)

  8. Optional: Add a 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar to mug before consuming for added digestive and cleansing benefit
