Our Story
Back in 2017, our founder, Robbie Madfis, was burned out from startup life and found refuge in the kitchen. California Medjool dates, stuffed with spicy sunflower butter and dunked in dark chocolate. What began as a blog quickly gained a following.
Today, Hot Date Kitchen serves people obsessed with quality, taste, and values. We still hand-make every date in Rhode Island, with only the best ingredients, and zero BS.

We donate 10% of profits to causes working to reduce global poverty and mitigate climate change.
We've also partnered with smaller non-profits for month long donation campaigns 3-4 times a year.
